Frigidaire Microwave Warm LED Light Board

This is a "warmer" alternative LED light board for the range light found in Frigidaire microwaves (for example, Model No. LFMV1846VFA). The stock range light shipped with the microwave is a "cool" white light. Some people find "warmer" white light more comfortable for their kitchen, and there was not a drop-in substitute available.

Please note that 2700K LED temperature is often referred to as "warm white", but actually has more of a yellow/orange hue (see images).

Please check the number of LED boards in your microwave before ordering! Some microwaves have more than one.

FAQs:

Q: How does the light output compare to the stock light shipped with the microwave?

A: LEDs with "warmer" hues may be slightly less efficient (lumens/watt) as LEDs with "cooler" hues. The light output for the 2700K boards may be 10-20% less than the stock ~6500K lights.

Q: Do these LED boards use more power than the stock unit to make them brighter?

A: The boards have been designed so that they do not draw substantially more power from the appliance than the stock LED boards. The intent of this is to lower the likelihood of an aftermarket device potentially over-loading the appliance by drawing more power than the appliance has budgeted for the LED board.
